2 | HARDWARE PREPARATION

INSTALLING BATTERIES AND ATTACHING THE TETHER

1. Use a coin or screwdriver to unlock and remove the battery cover. Turn

the lock underneath the scanner to a horizontal position to unlock.

2. Remove the battery cover.

For the Bluetooth CHS v2, the Bluetooth Device Address is printed

on a label inside the battery compartment. The address is used to

identify the Bluetooth CHS.

3. If desired, attach the tether. Wrap the string loop around the inside part

of the lock.
